Adventures of Trim
Peachtree, 2023–2024
Illustrations for a children’s chapter book series inspired by the real adventures of Trim the cat, who lived on board a Royal Navy ship from 1799–1804. This newer series written by Deborah Hopkinson follows Trim’s early days of learning to be a ship’s cat and finding community at sea. 48 pages each, with color illustrations throughout. Made with a cheap brush pen, leaky fountain pen, acryla gouache paint, FW inks, colored pencils, and Photoshop. Available at local bookstores, or online via Indiebound, Barnes & Noble, or Amazon.
