Listening to Setouchi
Personal work, 2024–26
A limited-edition portfolio combining a folded zine with a set of eight archival pigment prints. The project began with eight postcard paintings made during the Kobe-Setouchi Arts residency in western Japan to collect sensory moments that trigger memory. The original painting harmony (imported) was exhibited in the group show In the Wake of a Mark at Galerie Makowski, New York. Watercolor, acrylic gouache, colored pencil.
