MARS (a play about mining)

Projection Art, Superhero Clubhouse and Matchbox Arts

Illustrations for projections based on the idea of neutral masks in commedia dell'arte, for a dance-theatre premiere at the Center for Performance Research.

Other projections were provided by Clay Rodery and Ray Jones. The play was written by Tom Coiner, directed by Jeremy Pickard, choreographed by Adam Weinert, and composed by Adam Miller. Adam also recorded updated versions of the songs for his Coal River Orchestra project. Those songs were performed live at Cake Shop, the now-shuttered music venue in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
